CollegeBound: Congratulations to our 2024 QuestBridge and Posse Scholars

The journey to college is often both an exciting and challenging process for our students. For those who will be the first in their families to attend college or have limited household incomes, their excitement for their futures may be dimmed by perceptions of affordability. Winning a full scholarship to college that covers tuition and other student expenses can be life-changing!

Student Leadership Network’s CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) and College Access and Success services are designed to address these concerns and opportunities. Our directors of college counseling (DCCs) propel students to find and apply to colleges that fit academic and personal interests while accounting for their family and financial situations. Organizations such as QuestBridge and Posse Foundation offer full tuition college scholarships and tailored college transition support following intensive, months-long applications. Our DCCs guide students throughout the process, from demystifying the applications’ academic and financial language to reviewing essays and providing practice interviews.

Ms. Joseph has shared both my excitement throughout this process and has helped me stay focused on my goals and what I want to achieve. I truly appreciate her so much for being so supportive of me.
