Leaders Then & Now: Nicole Doyle

The Young Women’s Leadership School of Astoria Class of 2015 ● Marist College 2019 ● Goldman Sachs Analyst

TYWLS has a special community of genuinely good people and the entire staff cares about each one of us and our success. I was always encouraged and supported by my teachers and director of college counselling (DCC) through everything. While in high school, I attended two summer college programs at Georgetown University and Syracuse University; both of which TYWLS helped fund so I could afford to go. When it came to choosing Marist, both teachers and my DCC helped with my college essay, reading over my college applications and ultimately making the decision that was best for my family and I.

Education is everything for me. It gave me the opportunity to meet lifelong friends, study abroad, intern for various companies, and ultimately, land a [great] job…

Nicole has been involved with Row New York since middle school and this photo shows her back in the day, carrying a row boat.

I studied Communications and Spanish at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. I had the opportunity to study abroad twice, once in Madrid and the second time in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Now, I work in Sales at Goldman Sachs in our NY office. I also sit on the Associate Board of Row New York, a nonprofit organization that I was lucky to be a part of since middle school.

Education is everything for me. It gave me the opportunity to meet lifelong friends, study abroad, intern for various companies and ultimately, land a job at Goldman Sachs. Working at GS has given me the opportunity to support myself and my family and it’s been an amazing start to hopefully, a long and healthy career.
