Sarah Boldin is the Managing Director of Girls’+ Education—comprising The Young Women’s Leadership Schools (TYWLS) and Young Women’s Leadership affiliate schools, which impact more than 12,000 students nationally every year with programs, partnerships, and professional development. Sarah has over 20 years of secondary education, higher education, and nonprofit leadership experience. Her work with Student Leadership Network began in 2004 when she joined our flagship school, TYWLS Manhattan, to teach High School English. Her commitment to improving educational experiences for girls and gender-expansive youth, especially those in public and tuition-free school settings, has been central to her professional practice since then.

Before joining Student Leadership Network’s Girls+ Education Team in 2008, Sarah served for two years as Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Dartmouth College, focusing on recruitment and enrollment for students underrepresented in predominantly white institutions.

Sarah is active in her community, serving on boards for her local library system and Wolf Performing Arts Center (a children’s educational theater), and volunteering for local chapters of organizations such as the Girl Scouts and PFLAG. She earned a BA in English and Sociology from Rutgers University, and a MA in Teaching English and Theater Arts from New York University.

Sarah enjoys spending time at home with her husband Dan, kids Elliott and Molly, and two fancy cats.
