U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor: A Highlight of YWLN’s 20th Anniversary Year

In February more than 500 juniors and seniors from The Young Women’s Leadership School had the thrilling opportunity to attend our 20th Anniversary Leadership Lecture: A Conversation with Justice Sonia Sotomayor. In a living room style conversation, followed by a Q&A, Justice Sotomayor shared her wisdom and life experiences with the students, encouraging them to follow their passion and to believe in themselves. It was an inspiring morning, full of thunderous applause, with the young women agreeing that “meeting Justice Sotomayor was a dream come true”.
