Visualizing the NSC: A Collaborative Journey from Data to Value

September 29, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Visualizing NSC-September 29 from 2-3pm

About the event:

We were excited to host an in-depth conversation with Dr.Kelly Bay-Meyer and Jake Fournier from GuidEd Insight. Developed with input from NCAN and the Common Measures Learning Community, the GuidEd Insight visualization platform is built to integrate National Student Clearinghouse and other student data to inform the actions that drive college success. GuidEd Insight makes equity a priority, with tools to inform college success for students of color, first-generation students, and students impacted by poverty. Kelly and Jake shared the tool and joined in a discussion about the journey that made it, tackling challenges of data integration, wrangling with NSC data, and building usable analytics for different types of organizations and users. Please view the playback of the event via the YouTube video above and watch as we mine the experience of GuidEd Insight for lessons on how College Success organizations can make actionable analytics a reality.
